The Adventure Unlimited/DiscoveryBound Foundation. The establishment of this foundation is an important way to ensure that both the Camps and Field program, DiscoveryBound, have the resources needed for the coming years. Functioning under the same 501(c)(3) non-profit status as Adventure Unlimited, this internal foundation will function as a new facet of A/U whose face will be turned outward toward our many supporters.

A/U and DiscoveryBound Fund Descriptions are listed below:
ANNUAL GIVING FUND
This fund supports the entire organization.
We need to raise $1,800,000 this year to cover our Annual Operational expenses. We charge participants less than it costs to run programs, so your generosity helps us continue to offer year-round activities for Christian Scientists.
Capital Projects: Your donation to this fund supports on-going maintenance of the buildings, equipment, and land required to operate A/U's national programs.
DiscoveryBound Fund: This fund is used exclusively for our Field program, DiscoveryBound, which provides year-round activities for Christian Science teens, friends, and families. There are currently 57 local chapters, regional and national events as well as leadership programs throughout the U.S. and in Australia and Uruguay.
DiscoveryBound Scholarship Fund: This fund insures youth who need financial assistance can attend National and Regional events.
DiscoveryBound National Leadership Council (NLC) Fund: Donations to this fund support DiscoveryBound's four-year teen leadership program to foster qualities of servant leadership among Christian Science youth.
A/U Ranches Fund: This fund is used exclusively for supporting camp programs at the A/U Ranches.
A/U Ranches Campership Fund: This fund provides financial aid for young Christian Scientists who want to experience the life-changing atmosphere of summer camp.
ENDOWMENTS
The following endowments will provide future sustainability for A/U and DiscoveryBound and are vital to our finacial future:
DiscoveryBound Endowment: Sustains year-round activities at the local, regional, and national level
Facilities Maintenance Endowment: Maintains the Ranch buildings, roads, and infrastructure
Campership Endowment: Generates additional funds to send Christian Science youth to summer camp
General Endowment: Sustains year-round activities for Adventure Unlimited and DiscoveryBound
